My new Location!!

I have been driving by this location for quite sometime and I have wanted to take the kids there to get some pictures done, and finally we ended up shooting there. I am in love with what we got, we didn't have much time since we were shooting 5 kids at one time, but since Dustin was helping me it worked out great. Although I am going back with each child individually to actually get more shots. There are more on our Personal BLOG

Melissa Senior Session

Well all, tomorrow I am leaving for a three day camping trip and won't be back til Sunday night. So I thought I would leave you with one new post while I am gone. This is a senior session that I did for Melissa. Melissa is best friends with Tiana who I shot back in February of this year. We had a great time and shared many laughs and I owe a big thank you to Tiana for holding my reflector for me. So until I return, I hope you all have an awesome weekend and you will want to check back next week for some awesome back to back weddings that I shot in Utah and Seattle. Also, there will be some very awesome changes coming for Digital Izatt Photography, including a new website!!! Well, I am off to pack my camping gear, I'll see you guys Monday with some new posts.

Hoppípolla by Sigur Ros

Time for another song recommendation by Big D. I absolutely love this song and music video. Hoppipolla is Icelandic for "Jumping Into Puddles". I chuckle every time I watch this video and watch the elderly folks who are so young at heart and act mischievous. It is very moving and I think I relate to this video because I am also very young at heart. Lili Bridals :) HOT HOT HOT

So back on 05-12-08 I shot bridals for Lili. Some of you may remember the hot engagement session I shot for Lili and Giang in Long Beach CA back in March. Well this time Lili flew in to Utah for her bridal session. Her dress was stunning and she looked amazing. Lili's sister Nana as well as her mom and dad came along for the session. She drove up in her brother's yellow Lexus and I said we had to get a couple shots by the car for fun. You guys haven't seen the last of Lili yet ;) because her wedding is this month on 05-30-08 and 05-31-08, so check back next month for their wedding shots.

Anica and Tyler Engagements

We shot Anica and Tyler's engagements at Memory Grove and a couple locations downtown. They had their first date at the Gateway and had Starbucks together, so we shot a little in front of the Gateway. These guys were an awesome couple and I can't wait for their wedding in July.

Amie Senior Session

Meet Amie. A day after shooting Brianna's senior photos, we met at Memory Grove to shoot Amie's session. It was a blast and I absolutely loved her blue prom dress. A couple bypassers even told her that was the most beautiful wedding dress they had ever seen, lol. Check back for some awesome senior, engagements, bridals, and wedding posts to come.

Brianna Senior Session

Meet Brianna, Heidi's sister. Brianna wanted more of a traditional session, so we went to Layton Park. It was a beautiful day and there were finally some flowers in bloom :) Dad and brother even came along to help out and I had a great time chatting with dad.

the orb - little fluffy clouds

Just got back from Seattle this morning after shooting Kali and JT's wedding. You guys will be blown away by some of the shots I got, so check back soon for their post. Anyways, on my way from the Seattle Airport to the temple, I was stuck in traffic and listening to this really awesome radio station in my rental car and this song came on. I absolutely love this song, the lady rambling on and on about little fluffy clouds, lol, and the beat is just awesome. So of course as soon as I came home I had to download it on iTunes.

Megan and Ryan Engagements Season 1 - Spring

Well folks, I just got home from shooting Mallorie and Matt's wedding and will get no sleep tonight as I leave for Seattle tomorrow morning to shoot Kali and JT's wedding. So I thought I would quickly blog the engagement session I did for Megan and Ryan, this will be the first of four. That's right, four engagement sessions, these guys are getting married May of 2009 and had this great idea to do an engagement session in each season for the invitation :) How awesome is that. So I will be doing all 4 sessions as well as Megan's bridals and a trash the dress, oh, and the wedding too. Wish me safe travel tomorrow, I really hate flying, lol.

Heidi Senior Photos

So after flying back from shooting Taylor and Jame's wedding in Denver Colorado, I met up with Heidi and her mom at the Union Station in Ogden to shoot Heidi's senior photos. It was a blast. Heidi was referred to me by Sarah and I also shot Heidi's sister a couple days after this shoot (photos coming soon). The highlight of the shoot was when an old biker dude came up and freaked us out by saying "you know what would make a great picture...this" as he puts his arm around Heidi. It was very freaky, so I quickly pointed my camera toward them and pretended to take the picture just so he would go away and leave us alone. Some people. Anyways, despite the crazy biker guy, we got some really great shots :P
